1:4 He is beyond comparison in stature and significance to any prophetic messenger; his name spells mankind's salvation; the entire earth is his inheritance. (Jesus says in John 5:39 You scrutinize the Scriptures tirelessly, assuming that in them you embrace the life of the ages - yet I am what the Scriptures are all about. Ps 2:7,8..."I have given you the ends of the earth as your inheritance." Also Ps 24:1.)

1:5 God did not address any of the prophetic messengers when he said, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you. I am to you all that a Father can be to a son, and you are to me all that a son can be to a Father.” (Ps 2:7,8, ‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you.” The word, γεγεννηκα 1gegennēka, Perfect Active Indicative of gennaō refers to the incarnation [John 1:1-3 and 14] as well as to the resurrection. It is important to note that the incarnation is not the origin of Jesus. See my commentary note on John 1:1. See Acts 13:30-33 But God raised him from the dead; and for many days he appeared to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people. And we bring you the Good News that what God promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus; as also it is written in the 2nd Psalm, "Today I have begotten you." This reminds of Ephesians 4:8, Scripture confirms that he led us as trophies in his triumphant procession on high; he 1repossessed his gift [likeness] in mankind. Quote from Ps 67:19 LXX Septuagint, 1ἔλαβες δόματα ἐν ἀνθρώπῳ, elabes domata en [in] anthropo - You have repossessed gifts in human form. The word elabes from lambano means to take what is one's own. The word for the human species, male or female is anthropos, from ana, upward, and tropos, manner of life; character; in like manner. [Hebrew text, Ps 68:18,19 תחקל תונתמ םדאב lakachat mattanoth ba adam - "You have taken gifts in Adam." The gifts which Jesus Christ distributes to us he has received in us, in and by virtue of his incarnation. Adam Clarke.] We were born anew in his resurrection. [1 Pet 1:3, Hosea 6:2] The fact that he ascend ed confirms his victorious descent into the deepest pits of human despair [Eph 4:9]. See John 3:13 [RSV], “No one has ascended into heaven but he who 1descended from heaven, even the son of man.” All mankind originate from above; we are 1anouthen, from above. He now occupies the ultimate rank of authority, from the lowest regions, wherein he stooped down to rescue us, to the highest authority in the heavens, having executed his mission to the full. Fallen mankind is fully restored to the authority of the authentic life of their design. Eph 4:10. 1See Col 1:18...He is the principle rank of authority who leads the triumphant procession of our new birth out of the region of the dead. 1:7 Of the prophetic messengers he says, I inspire you to be swift like the wind and he fashions those who work his cause like a flash of lightning. (LXX-Ps 103:4)

1:8 But when he addresses the Son he says, “Your throne, Oh God, extends be yond the ages. The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. (Ps 45:6. His throne is established upon our redeemed innocence. Heb 1:3.)

1:9 You love righteousness and 1shield your seed from wickedness. Oh God, your God anointed you with the oil of joy; you stand head and shoulders above your associates.” (Psalm 45:7. The word, "hate" אנש sana the creation of dis tance between elements, often preceded by a breaking apart, and followed by a removal or storage. In Ancient Hebrew anx speaks of a shield of thorns protecting the seed against wickedness. The AH for wickedness, resha, osr reading from right to left pictures a head and two front teeth meaning to chew or, also to strike like a serpent and an eye; thus, a distorted perception.)
1:9 Ты возлюбил правду и возненавидел беззаконие, посему помазал Тебя, Боже, Бог Твой елеем радости более соучастников Твоих.
1:10 “The earth traces its foundation back to you, the heavens also are your invention; they are all hand-crafted by you. (Psalm 102:25-27)
1:10 И: в начале Ты, Господи, основал землю, и небеса — дело рук Твоих;
1:11 They shall become obsolete, but you will remain; they shall show wear like an old garment, (The old order will be replaced with the new.)
11.они погибнут, а Ты пребываешь; и все обветшают, как риза,
1:12 and you will fold them up as a mantle [reminds of the folded head-cloth in Jesus' grave after his resurrection - Jn 20:7]; they shall be 1renewed, but you remain “I am,” and your years will never cease." (This is resurrection-language. The word, ףַ לָ ח Chalap, to be renewed; to be made to sprout. See Heb 8:13 He announces the new dispensation to confirm that the old shadow system has been rendered redundant. See Col 3:9 That old life was a lie, foreign to our design. Those garments of disguise are now thoroughly stripped off us in our understanding of our union with Christ in his death and resurrection. We are no longer obliged to live under the identity and rule of the robes we wore before.)
1:12 и как одежду свернешь их, и изменятся; но Ты тот же, и лета Твои не кончатся.
1:13 Neither was it any of the prophetic messengers he had in mind when he said, “You are the extension of my right hand; my executive authority; take your position and witness how I make your enemies a place upon which you may rest your feet.” (See Heb 10:13; Luke 20:41-44; Ps 109:1 LXX, also Isa 66:1)
1:13 Кому когда из Ангелов сказал Бог: седи одесную Меня, доколе положу врагов Твоих в подножие ног Твоих?
1:14 Are they not all Spirit-employed and commissioned on behalf of everyone who was about to become heirs of salvation. (λειτουργικα 1 Pet 1:10-14.)
